Streamside was a special place for many of us.
This project aims to preserve something of the experience of walking around Streamside.
This is very much a work in progress. It uses open source data from NAIP as a starting point.
Phases
- Phase 1: Fill in the map with photos taken on site.
- Phase 2: Use photogrammetry to recreate 3D models of the buildings and terrain.
Contribute
If you have any photos of Streamside, please consider contributing them. They need to be photos that you have the rights to share publicly.

Get involved
If you have experience in photogrammetry, 3D modelling or programming, please get in touch. The code will be made open source as soon as it's a bit more polished.

- Change skybox to clear blue
- Why are the bounds smaller than they should be?
- Add a hand-drawn base image for clarity
- Get geometry for the hills around Streamside
- Move the extract photos script to a utils repo - keep the main repo just serving the application
- Script pulling the most recent changes from Git
- Start improving the base geometry
- Split the script into a .js file
